The evacuation of Plymouth was completed before the volcano erupted. In total 8,000 lives were saved. A few hundred lives were lost.

Hurricane update

The hurricane's eye is now going to miss the island but it will still hit the north side of the island.

The volcano is still erupting and the ash is moving east.

The hurricane is of moderate strength and will hit the north-east side of the mountain in 1 hour, 40 minutes.

The ash has now reached 15cm in areas. People are abandoning their cars and continuing on foot. Traffic jams are occurring and people are attempting to reach the safer north side of the island.

One of the teams researching on one of the maps.

The team working on the hurricane temporarily lost satellite signal reducing the effectiveness of their operation.

The hurricane has caused flooding in the town of Trant's. High waves hitting the east coast have stopped all ships evacuating the island.

Tuitts was left to the volcano because no evacuation efforts were made to save the town and the town is now burned to the ground. There has been significant loss of life.

An ash cloud has engulfed Harris and Tuitt's. Pyroclastic flows are moving at very high speeds towards the coast. The ash cloud has also stopped all commercial flights from bramble airport and all helicopter support.
